Michael J. Klima, Jr., Esq. was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, earning his bachelor’s degree from Towson State University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Klima began his employment with Thieblot Ryan P.A. in 1996 as part of the collection staff, then as a law clerk, and finally as an attorney. Mr. Klima is licensed to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. He oversees the firm’s bankruptcy and Virginia practices, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.
Scott E. Peters, Esq. was raised in Rochester, New York, earning his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore. While attending law school, Mr. Peters participated in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition representing the University of Baltimore School of Law. Mr. Peters began his employment at Thieblot Ryan P.A. in 2001 as a law clerk, then as an attorney upon his admission to the bar. Mr. Peters is licensed to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
Sean Daly, Esq. is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A. 1999). Mr. Daly then graduated from Catholic University Law School in 2008. After graduation, Sean clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. Love in the Prince Georges County District Court. Sean joined our team in 2009 as a staff attorney. He now manages all Legal Department operations.
Connellee Armentrout, Esq. joined our firm in 2013. Connellee supervises our Virginia litigation; his office is located in Richmond, VA. Connellee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hampden-Sidney College with a BA Degree in 2008 and from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2012. Connellee clerked for the Honorable Herbert C. Gill, Jr., Circuit Court, Virginia’s 12th Judicial Circuit, from 2012-2013.
Shawn Kennedy, Firm Director, has been with the firm since 1989. Shawn was hired as a collector, was promoted to Assistant Manager in Collections in 1992, and was made the Collections Manager in 1997. In 2013, Shawn was promoted to Firm Director where he oversees the day to day operations in the firm.
